Parays Game Ranch

The pictures were way different - This is definitely one hotel needs maintenance. I rate it as 2 stars instead of 4. We waited 2 hrs to check in due to rooms were not ready.. For the breakfast it was always the same no good selection and always 1 hr late to start. WiFi not good at all. The bathroom smells sewage. A/C are not reliable as well.

We stayed here for a night on a stopover through Lusaka. I initially thought this was a retreat closer to the airport as airport shuttle was advertised. I confirmed the distance and was told 25-35 minutes, it was more like an hour and 10 minutes. They have beautiful grounds, great staff and they did provide airport transit. The stay comes with activities, so if you have time and are looking for a retreat for some days, might be a good spot. The animals come down to the main grassy area in the afternoon, unfortunately we left before that time. We had some room issues with the water heater, but staff worked hard to overcome challenges. Great morning walk and they offer game drives on the property. We'd just come from a safari adventure filled week so wildlife wasn't that important to us. If you have kids or want a wildlife retreat, may be a good stop.

Super courteous staff from the doormen, bellmen, receptionist, the server who brought me cold juice and a sweet, and the young lady who guided me to my room and pointed out its amenities.
