Lovely villa in great location
A great sized villa for 6 people very near an amazing beach (4 minute walk away)plus local restaurants and bars. The surrounding area was very peaceful and relaxing.Villa is very clean however it is a bit 'tired' in parts and the kitchen is very sparsely equipped - there were no plastic plates or glasses for outside use, no tea towels, dishwasher tablets and only a small cloth to clean with. We have stayed in many villas and there have always been an assortment of basic cooking oils and condiments but there was nothing- not even salt.I would not pay the 2 per pool towel per day again- they were very worn- its cheaper just to buy one locally and throw it away!The air conditioning did not work downstairs when we first arrived which was unbearable in 35 degree heat but Andreas the owner did come round the next day and arranged an engineer to fix this.Beds were very comfy and the air con upstairs works well. Plenty of wardrobe space in each bedroom which is brilliant.A bit annoying is that there is nowhere in the bathrooms or bedrooms to put cosmetics or toiletries which would be an issue if there were 6 adults The floors and stairs are marble so slippy when wet- I would be very cautious if I had small children.The pool was lovely although looses the sun by 5pm- the sunbeds would be perfect if there were cushions on them.Taxi to Protaras is 20 each way.We will definitely return to the villa as its locations is perfect and the negatives are only minor.
