「It rained a bit, which is to be expected in this area, but nothing that was too much of a bother. One small complaint I have that actually just occurred to me is that the local mosque, of which there is one on every corner in this part of the world, started prayers at a high volume at 4am today...I'm all for religious freedom however, 4am, and no way to get away from it, that's a little much. I don't know what the solution is, however, there should be room for some consideration.」

「Location not that great but price is good. The staff was superbly friendly and welcoming, the best feature of this hotel I must say. The hotel is outdated and in deep need for good renovation and scrubbing. Aircon is not cold also even when we set it at 18 degrees with highest fan speed. 」

「A dreadful experience. Awful trouble at check in. I had an advance booking and confirmation number which I provided at check in. They had no idea who I was or what I was saying. Nobody spoke english they kept insisting I had to pay again. 30 minutes of argument until I saw my name on a list and pointed to it. Dreadful room and terrible location. will never go back.」

「the checkin was super easy and smooth.. front desk clerk came and opened the door upon arrival, big smile on his face and from then on i had a new friend in Makassar.. any questions i just asked him and not only did he answer them but would tell me better way or place than what i was thinking.. the food in the restaurant as well as the service was perfect.Coto Makassar huge sreving and just ENAK.. 」
