Super clean property. Everything was excellent. Only thing that didn’t work was the garage door opener from the outside. Other than that we had a really great stay…

Excellent property! Clean, well stocked kitchen, generous supply of gear for the beach and a great golf cart. This property is at the back of the development and the small deck off the back is nice. The main pool area is beautiful. We loved the location - right in the middle between Seaside and Rosemary. We love Deer Lake State Park Beach - it has a long boardwalk from the parking lot but it’s worth the haul. The management company wasn’t the best but that’s not the owner’s fault. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and everything we needed to cook. We also appreciated the newer washer and dryer, plus the beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, bikes, and golf cart. There were a few issues that impacted our stay. The couch covers needed changing (clean ones were left in a basket), the showers could have been cleaner, the body wash wasn’t refilled, and the refrigerator had several broken shelves and drawers. When we arrived, there was no power in the garage, so we couldn’t charge or use the golf cart. We notified the host immediately, but maintenance didn’t come until the next day, causing us to lose a full day of use. We also had no hot water on our first day, so everyone had to take cold showers before that was fixed the following day.The listing photos make it appear there is a usable balcony, but there really isn’t. Also, the beach is too far to walk comfortably, so you’ll need to drive, bike, or use the golf cart. Public beach access and parking are limited. The community pool was also much too small for the size of the neighborhood and was consistently crowded, making it difficult to find chairs. With better cleaning and quicker maintenance response, this would have been a better stay.

Met all our expectations

This is the second time we stayed in Prominence and our unit was fantastic. We had such a great time using the golf cart it worked great. The pool is always perfect after a long day at the beach. This is our favorite spot in Florida and we will definitely be coming back and staying in this neighborhood again!

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful time. Only complaint was cleanliness. All the floors seemed to not have been mopped in a long time. All of our feet turned black from walking around on dirty floors.

The residence was as described. The LSV was probably the best thing of the trip. Unfortunately, the HOA according to our property manager is extremely strict. We did notice that other units had the garage doors up regularly and some played music fairly loud driving through the community on in their LSV. Almost upon arrival, we were reminded to be quiet and any reports of noise could be reported to the authorities and possibly result in loss of our rental. I have never received a reminder in like that anywhere I stayed in the past. It may be common practice…it caught me off guard. We did not have a code to get in and out of the garage so we always had to go inside, regardless of what we were doing to open/close the garage. We did make a note of this, but we were told we would not have that code for the duration of our stay. Given the garage door being closed at all times due to HOA, that was a little frustrating. Trash cans have to be left inside the garage. Unfortunately whoever stayed before us had broken a couple of things and also left a mess in the trashcan so gnats were everywhere. We did report this. We battled gnats the entire stay in the kitchen area. Overall the home was nice and the location was good. The pool is nice, but the attendants are a bit much. I don’t know that I would stay at this same community again.

No parking anywhere.

Great condo. Neat golf cart. Terrible beach access. No place to park the golf cart anywhere. The battery life is very short on the cart so don’t go far. If you’re looking for convenience, this is T the place for you.

Overall, this property met our expectations. However, there were a number of things that will have us looking elsewhere for our next visit. At check in we realized the garage door opener didn’t work. We contacted the property management company with no solution. Big bummer with a golf cart that needed access to the garage. When we got there we noticed there were rotten pumpkins (in late March) both at the front door and inside the home. The garage was filthy, food from previous residents on the ground and an overflowing trash can. The back porch was so dirty and covered in leaves. The patio cushions were too dirty to use.The floors throughout the property were swept/vacuumed but for sure not mopped recently as our feet were instantly black. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The closets were filled with random bedding and the owners items, making them hard to access/use. The golf cart was great, but the front seat belts would randomly lock in place.Lots of small inconveniences/gross spots led to a sub par experience.

Short vacation

Very nice place. All according to pictures. Nice location and easy access. I would reduce number of emails and steps pre-vacation: I had to fill and sign two different forms/contracts after payment and still it took too long to receive check in instructions. I received them at 9pm on checking date. The wifi is not stable. Everything else was great! Would gladly come back.

Loved everything about property except that you could only lease golf cart from one vendor. We needed a cart as my daughter has CP and that vendor was booked out. They should allow all vendors.

Property was nice - owners have thought of everything and then some. We loved the townhouse and the gulf cart. Our complaint is more with the property management group/cleaning team. We arrived to the garage code not working - the front door is around to the side so everytime we would come or go, we had to have someone stay and shut the garage door from inside and walk around or vice versa when we would get back to the house. We let the management team know on the day of arrival - their answer was to just use the front door. We ended up speaking to someone who handles the trash pick up and he stated that the garage code has been inoperable for some time now. Maybe they should add a garage door opener or the correct code. As far as cleanliness - the floors were so dirty throughout the house that the bottoms of our feet were black and our socks were gross - there was also a gross (white) stain on the footboard on the master bedroom bed frame. The extra pillows/shams had stains all over them. Just very dirty. On our last night, the golf cart broke down - we called the “emergency” number provided to us - it was a waste of time. We were told they would call us back - never happened. I got a text that they were sending a tow, however, we found someone who was able to help us and we were able to limp the cart back to the house (2 hrs later) I then received a call at 9:15pm wanting us to “let someone in” to look at the golf cart. There was no urgency to help us.

Family vacation

The location and rental were amazing. We loved the house. The rental company was horrible to deal with. We didn’t not have the basic amenities when we arrived and when we called about them it was never taken care of. We also were without one of the included bikes until the last day off the trip because of a flat tire but they never even called us back when we tried to get it fixed. Our garage door also did not work for tow of the days. This is a big deal when you need to get things especially bikes in and out. Over all we loved the house but would never book with that rental company again.

Misleading Ad

The pictures and ad imply that the golf cart and bikes are included in the rental. THEY ARE NOT! After paying my deposit I figured out that I could rent these things for much less on my own, so I tried to IMMEDIATELY contact VRBO and the property manager (Beachwalk Vacations) to attempt to cancel the rental or golf cart/bikes. Neither party responded to daily requests. 4 days into the process I finally tracked down someone at Beachwalk by phone and they told me "I waited too long to cancel and my deposit could not be refunded". Wow! Prominence is a wonderful property. Just steer clear of this unit or anything represented by Beachwalk Vacations!

Sea Side Vacation

The overall stay was great! We really enjoyed the property and location. We have a few suggestions of items that we wished would've been provided. 1. Wifi info/passwords on the laminated sheet that was on the kitchen counter. I know this info was in the email but it would've been much more convenient to have it accessible for our entire group right as we walked in. 2. Check out instructions on the laminated sheet. 3. A small container of clothes detergent in the laundry room. 4. Shampoo and conditioner 5. Hangers 6. A hairdryer in the master bathroom 7. Filters for the coffee maker 8. We had issues with the golf cart charging cord not working. We had to call twice to get a replacement delivered. In the interim, we had to ask the neighbor to borrow theirs. All in all it was a wonderful property that we would rent again. Thanks!

Fruit Fly Infestation

Upon arrival the garage did not work and no one was available to come until the following day. Being the middle unit you had to walk around another vehicle, down the side of the building to the unit door to bring in your luggage/beach gear. Staying a week with three kids needless to say we had a car full of stuff to lug in. We were then greeted by fruit flies. Not just downstairs but upstairs in the bedrooms as well. Upon taking out our first bag of trash we discovered the trash cans in the garage were still full from past visitors which was covered in fruit flies. We were not offered any type of help with this issue and when alerting the property manager I was told, “sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback.” We have been to many properties on 30A and my six year old said this was the worst beach house ever. Very disappointed in the lack of help with the fruit fly problem.

Great location, needs updates

The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Quick golf cart ride to the beach. The house was not very clean, there was sand in several places on the first floor. Lots of dust in air vents and windows. It needs some updates, the dishwasher wasn’t attached to the cabinet and kept on falling open, the coffee maker didn’t worked, the garage door didn’t open every time and when it did worked it was very slow. The couches had big stains and the bathroom curtains need to be replaced as they are old and dirty.
