Welcome to Wasting Away Hideaway! Our charming home offers a comfortable retreat for families, friends, and even your furry companions. Just a short 5-minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive to the beach, this location is ideal for enjoying sun-soaked days and coastal activities. We are only 4 blocks from the beach & 2 blocks from the boat launch. The home also features a private hot tub, free golf cart, custom-built tiki bar, and Margaritaville machine Frozen Concoction Maker!

The spacious primary bedroom features a plush king bed, while the second bedroom is equipped with a cozy double bed bunk with a twin on top, plus an additional twin bed. All beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you need—dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, coffee pot, toaster, and microwave—to whip up delicious meals. Relax in the outdoor space complete with outdoor chairs, perfect for BBQs and unwinding after a day at the beach. A washer and dryer are available in the storage room at the back of the house for your convenience.
Free WiFi, board games, and DVDs are provided to keep everyone entertained. NEW for 2024 - we just added a hot tub perfect for the cooler evenings. We provide a beach wagon with sand wheels to make your seaside adventures even more enjoyable. Only 4 blocks from the beach, you can walk (6 min) or drive in minutes (FREE PARKING). You'll be close to popular spots like Schooners, Emerald Falls Family Recreation Center, Finn's Island Style Grubb, Rick Seltzer Park, St. Andrew's State Park, and more - you'll never run out of things to do. Only 2 blocks to the lagoon and walking distance to the Dolphin Street Boat Launch for additional water activities! This home with vaulted ceilings and large closets is the perfect crash spot for a beach vacation. Enjoy the blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm in our welcoming home. There is parking available for 4 cars. There are two parking curbs provided that are labeled "A". Another set of two cars can park behind them. Please only park in designated spots.

Please be aware that our home is situated near wooded areas, which means you may occasionally see a palmetto bug or dead cockroach during your stay. We perform monthly pest control treatments, and finding dead insects is a sign that the treatment is effective. However, if doors are left open at night, the likelihood of palmetto bugs entering increases. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot offer compensation for these natural occurrences.

**Weather Policy:**
Please note that we do not offer compensation or refunds for rain or thunderstorms. Weather in Florida, particularly during the summer months, is unpredictable, and forecasts can change throughout the day. We adhere to our firm cancellation policy: full refund for cancellations at least 30 days before check-in, 50% refund for cancellations between 7 and 30 days before check-in, and no refund for cancellations less than 7 days before check-in.

Great Experience

About a 5 to 7 minute Minute walk to the beach.The house was equipped with everything you need if you forget anything Me , my wife and my kids live comfortable for 5 days and 4 nights We was having so much fun. We didn't even use the hot tub, but it is there for you The owners were great at communicating
