"Our suite was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mexico City can be a bit overwhelming but Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico was a perfect refuge. The restaurant was terrific, both for food and for the incredible view overlooking the Zocalo. There was also a lovely lounge for residents of the hotel only."

"Our stay at Casa Filomeno was amazing! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. From an effortless check in, which was 1:00 am, to check out, everything was perfect. Fransisco who worked in reception was incredible. He was always there to help with any of our needs. He went out of his way for us many times. The location was in a very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. The beds were so comfortable, and the suite had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Also wanted to acknowledge Joanne and Esa who cleaned the rooms, they were always around if we needed any extra supplies. We also enjoyed the deck, and would have our happy hour up there watching the activity on the street. A wonderful hotel to have as a home base to enjoy a wonderful city. "
