"We booked same day and had a room on the second floor with a king bed and balcony view right over the water! A beautiful view & the sound of the ocean was incredible to sleep to. Quiet cleaning service in the morning that doesn’t start until around 8:30-9am. For an older building, it’s well taken care of and very clean. Close to downtown Hilo, but fairly secluded from city traffic. Will definitely stay again! "

The house is clean, has everything needed for a wonderful get-away, and is in a quiet neighborhood, the perfect place for my parents to use as a base while they explored the island. Sunrises were amazing, the pool was nice after a full day exploring--I had only good stories from their anniversary trip to the big island!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this off-the-beaten path bnb. Hosts were very informative and welcoming. Stay here if you want to fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and birds, shower under the moonlight, and breakfast with the geckos. There’s no A/C but plenty of fans kept us cool. "
