The private entrance guest suite is located downstairs in our 2-story home. My partner and I live upstairs and we both work from home. We are in our 40s-50s with 4 cats, no kids. See profile for more on us. We don't wear shoes in the house and don't party. And sorry folks, no parties allowed in the unit.

We have insulated the unit but this is shared living so you will hear some noise transfer. Your bedroom is below our kitchen and your living room is below our living room (and Charlene works in there--my office is on the other side of the house). The bedroom is on the street side. It has a double-paned window but you can hear cars (most through traffic during commute hours). Our bedroom is also on the street side but on second floor on other side of the house.

No pets allowed. No kids. We unfortunately cannot accommodate children because the unit and the backyard are not set up for them due to sharp edges, no childproof cabinets, unfenced hillside, ceramics, etc.
