"They have one room upstairs, you have to climb stairs. Bathroom is outside the room. We paid $150 dollars per night for 2 nights. First night, we hesitated to ask anything. The dust smell never ended, even though we opened windows and the door also. Bedsheets, pillow covers are silk, we cannot or ever slept on silk. One set of pillows are ok, other set had stains and looked, smelled horrible. Second day, we reported all these. The host changed the pillow covers to cotton, they are full of stains and smelled horrible. Room was still dusty behind the cot and cup board also dusty. If you need a place to just sleep, you can consider this. Second night, we left the property, booked another hotel, we could not sleep in this room. We chose this because of high user satisfaction, no idea how that high score came from. The host was not warm or inviting, she was like robo. We also chose this, because of breakfast. She gives crossant, yogurt, eggs. We can easily arrange for those. If you are choosing this property, i would like you all to be aware of how it was like. "

"Having three separate bedrooms and a full kitchen made our family’s stay smoooooth like butter in a quiet part of beautiful Kitsilano.It was a great location with easy parking. Close to UBC, water, and downtown."

"Good location; accurate description and photos - house was functional with good sized rooms and space for us - beds comfortable and nice bathrooms; parking secure. Only concern is there are tenants in basement and food smells and noise- even conversation, can be heard on ground floor. Although separate space, was more connected than we expected with smells and noise. "

"What a lovely stay! Shawn was so welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for the local sights! He was also incredibly responsive to questions via the app. The space is clean and bright, has a well-appointed kitchen and a comfortable bed; everything I need in a stay. It also is in a nice neighborhood that feels very safe and walkable. The bakery down the block is definitely worth trying! Great spot. I'll be back! "
