"10/2026: It was a great stay the hotel is a little outdated but its clean and staff is friendly, they had nightly entertainment too. The only thing is that everything closes by 10:30pm. But the location is great because you can always go to any of the bars around the hotel for after hours. This is for sure a family friendly hotel. The buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was good too. I would stay here again specially if I'm traveling with children."

"Barcelo is a beautiful property outside of Puerto Vallarta. It has something for everyone! The staff take great care in their work. So many friendly people who were always there to help. The buffet food was really good and we always found things to eat. The swim up bar was perfect and so much fun! The spa was so relaxing and so peaceful. We were able to watch football and baseball playoffs in the Cantina with a fun crowd. The staff went out of their way to turn a rainy day into fun activities. We are already planning on going back next year!"

"When we first got there, we had asked to switch rooms because the room we got was extremely small, and there were multiple things falling apart with the room. Once we upgraded our room, the room was perfect. It had enough space and seemed to be a more updated room. The staff was incredible and so nice and helpful throughout the hotel however, the check in staff weren’t very friendly (except for Laura). Overall we had a great stay"
