"Trade winds on the Bay exceeded my expectations. Room was modern,clean and a great value for the money. Located right on the main st in Rockland so everything is a short walk away. I would stay there again."

"Harborline was a last min decision added onto the end of vaca, that was a delightful experience. The pros, I appreciate a hotel that carpets the hall. It reduces noises considerably. The pillows were for me the perfect thickness. Not overly fluffy, and not to thin. One pillow comfortably alighted my spine as a slide sleeper. The staff were exceptional, and the room was immaculately clean. My only complaint is that every hotel shower in this trip there's not step or seat to rest your foot on as a person cleans their nether bits. I have no idea if it's an oversight, or the corp is penny pinching and decided that us folks with a tush that travel wouldn't want a foot rest, but their assumptions are sadly mistaken. That one little thing would've made my experience perfection. Other than that the Harborline is a great place to stay. "

"Overall a wonderful place for girls weekend. Close proximity to the lighthouses we wanted to see and to Rockland. Clean, beautiful view and easy check in. Host was very responsive with all contacts with questions. "

"Oh yes; dog treats in the lobby; BIG help with me maneuvering puppy dog outside with 3 legs and 15 years old; rearranging rugs to accommodate him as he’s terrified of falling on wood, linoleum, and tile floors. These people WERE NOT ASKED for help either; they saw me struggling with my back issues; jumped right in to make accessibility easier for my baby doggy!"

Reviewer Comments: The property was in the best location to be close to Rockland, yet in a more peaceful spot with the beach a quarter mile walk each morning. The property is clean except the white furniture is looking a little old. It is a very good place for a short stay in a peaceful spot."

"The view to the inlet was very nice - we enjoyed the large deck out back and collecting sea glass at low tide. We also brought our kayaks and went looking at the ospreys fishing on the other shore line across from the house. It was safe and pleasant kayaking.In the house we found quite a few things missing for making meals there. We had picked the house based on the large kitchen thinking it was well equipped for cooking.Some basic things we missed were:A Bread Cutting knifeSalad SpinnerGrill utensils - particularly the brush to glean the grillAlu foil and shrink wrap - make sure you bring it yourself.Containers w lid for food storageThere were no napkins or place mats - paper or fabric. Only one kitchen towel roll - bring your own.No bath towels or at least what was there were thin and small. There were lots of them though.We also found the proximity to the heavy traffic road a bit of a concern when bringing pets as the yard was not enclosed.All in all we had a wonderful time and visited Rockland several times the local light houses, the many galleries and book stores, Camden and to the south we went to Port Clyde and Spruce Head.So much beautiful scenery.We went to the Prime Restaurant which was top notch and can highly recommend to dine there. Just down the road from the house."
