Absolutely loved this place! The staff (Wendy) was great, loved the room decor and condition, the location was perfect, and the local fox just topped it off. The room has all the great things I could’ve wanted (although I never found out about the hot tubs that are in the picture). Would definitely return.

Very nice river front complex. The beds were very comfortable and there is a wonderful river walk close by. The staff was fantastic!

Friendly staff. Updated rooms. Nice balcony and view in the back. Curtain rod was falling off one side of window on door to room. Top of toilet tank was very dusty as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Normally, TV wouldn't be a big deal, but 2 grandson's came with us. Trouble getting TV to work for well over an hour & called office twice. Desk clerk was nice to come try to help without success. We finally found a Direct TV reset button and that did the trick. Continental breakfast was not that great. Not saying we wouldn't stay here again. This was our second time staying here. Just a little disappointed.

Dirty dirty
It was dirty. Soon as we walked in there was a stir stick for coffee sitting on the fire place. Curly hair in the shower and beds did not look clean. Lady running the front was nice but that does not make up for being dirty. We didnt even stay for the night we just left.

We are so sorry you had a negative experience and wish you had notified someone as we could have easily changed your room. We did check the room after your departure and it did appear that the room had been used so we are not sure if you might have stayed for a while. Again, we wish you had given us the chance to view the room and make it right. Thank you.

Holy guacamole. Best place to stay in Ouray.
If I ever come back to ouray I will always stay only at this place. The rooms are lovely. 2 king size beds and clean restrooms I have ever seen in any inn or hotel. And the receptionist Lolly is one of a kindest human. She had used her own money out of passion for her work and decorated the entire place on a tight budget and made it look too good for Xmas. I regret only staying a night here as I had booked another place for 6 other nights in Ouray before knowing about this place. Lolly was so friendly and we had the best breakfast ever with healthy options and unhealthy tasty options. I will only come back to this place if I stay in Ouray. Hope they keep this place same level of pretty clean and friendly.

The hot springs inn has no hot springs or a working hot tub, how disappointing. I paid 150 in advance for the room only to discover that a room was 119 if you just drive up and get one. I feel cheated. I go to Ouray often but will never stay there again

We are so sorry you feel that way, we do not advertise we have a Hot Springs onsite we are the closest hotel to the town of Ouray Hot Springs Pool, we are very clear that our Hot Tubs are closed from October 31 - May 21st for our guest safety as the decking becomes very icy. Our pricing is subject to change based on demand and occupancy and may go up or down at any time. You did not book through the hotel but through a online provider and they may offer different pricing as well. We are sad to hear you will not be visiting us again but hope all your future trips to Ouray will be fantastic. Thank you.

Very charming
The inn is quite charming. First time I've used that expression. The view from the 2nd floor overlooking the creek was wonderful. Two very nice king beds. They are firm and i like that. The hubs not so much, but everyone is different. Pillows for me were too soft, but again, personal preference. The is a 2mile riverwalk on the south side of the inn. I think her name is wendy, sorry if I'm wrong. She handles the front desk. Gave us great info on a hot springs a little up the road. Had a fabulous.time. We want to make this our quiet getaway before the holidays.

Great stay for our anniversary.

Really nice being on the river so enjoyed the view, white noise at night as we slept w/the window open, and a long walk along the river. Had a nice fake fireplace which added to the ambiance and charm of this alittle rustic yet updated conveniences. Would definitely stay here again !

Very beautifully located right on the river. Walking around the 2 mile perimeter of the river is a highlight in fall. Rooms are big and comfy. Loved our stay. Breakfast is better somewhere in town and btw, the hot springs are in walking distance.
