「Hotel really quaint, food in restaurant nice, bar area also really nice! Our room was well decorated with lovely bathroom only small but everything you require! The only thing I would suggest is that there was an iron and ironing board in the room! 」

「For a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles away」

「The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. 」

「I have stayed at this hotel three times over the last month, and will be staying again over the next couple of months. The hotel is in a nice location surrounded by countryside and is very quiet, the leisure facilities are excellent as are the dining options, but best of all it’s the staff who make this hotel well worth the visit, all staff are welcoming and helpful and are always available if you need anything, and a special mention to Olivia the young lady who works in the bar and grill of an...
