Never seen a hotel bar close at 11 before - is this even legal - I thought guests could stay much later - everything comes with an after service bill - such as basic continental breakfast
Excellent friendly welcome. Room was clean. Had a meal at the new Indian Restaurant on the premises which I would definitely recommend.

Staff were doing their best to help.
Maintenance is poor, with a wonderful collection of black mould in the en-suite. Noise from the road is almost unbearable. I made the mistake of booking 2 nights and certainly won't be going back.
Property location is good and staff worked hard to please guests.
Condition and cleanliness of the property isn't great, and proximity to the road was an issue in my room - every time a HGV hit a pothole outside the floor of the room shook.
It wasn't anything the website said. Didn't get a very good welcome. The outside signage said luxury bed and breakfast it wasn't, it was very basic. Room was small and hot, no window to open. No toiletries. The sink was tiny so couldn't fill the kettle.
The hotel was under renovation and not providing any hot food only continental breakfast, as a diabetic I couldn't have the bread, yoghurt, cerials, jams or croissants. The continental breakfast were £15. We were not informed about the renovations before arrival, if we were we would have c. Cancelled.
Room was ok, very small. The we're marks on the bed sheet and bathroom door was dirty with mould. You could hear every noise from next door not to mention the main road and the fact the whole place shook when big articulated lorries drove past which was every 5mins. I mean for £37 i guess you get what you pay for.
Stayed here a few times whilst working nearby. Clean comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful..

Very friendly staff, room clean, tidy and comfortable bed. A bit noisy from road traffic and the kitchen in the morning, overall a great place to stay.
Such good value for money. Started a new trend last year, to come over Christmas time, attended again this year, will contiue this for the years to come. Host was lovely, food and drinks were good.
Very friendly and professional staff. Room clean and cosy but a bit small but adequate. The Christmas dinner was excellent …compliments to the chef!
We’ll stay again!
Many thanks Ste and Pearl
