「The property was as advertised. It was clean, beds were comfy and space was what we needed for the weekend. Initially, we were skeptical as the front walk, driveway and back walkway weren't plowed and we had to shovel to get in. Also, the property was advertised as a 3 bedroom space but 2 of the 3 rooms were locked when we first arrived. However, Lionel responded quickly and we were able to unlock the rooms and later the driveway and walkway were taken care of. So the initial negatives were...

「What a wonderful stay out this cabin style cottage. The location was perfect for outdoorsy activities and not too far from Ottawa and Gatineau! The space was perfect for a family of 5. The space was well AC during the hot days and the layout was great for playing board games (available at the site) or reading a book! As well, the wildlife was amazing! We saw turkeys, rabbits, foxes and deer. It was a beautiful getaway!」

「The property had all we needed and then some! We really enjoyed the porch with the wood stove and took advantage of the outdoor fire pit as well. I was brave to kayak even though it was November. The lake was glass so I could not resist. The sauna was our favorite and we chose to sleep in the treehouse because it felt like you were sleeping outside. 「We had a nice stay at this cottage. The place was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. It’s a great spot to enjoy nature and spend some peaceful time away from the city. One small note is that the cooking pots are a bit old, so bringing your own cookware might be helpful if you plan to cook. Also, the toilet can clog quite easily, so it just needs to be used with a little extra care. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time here.」

「How to access the property was not clearly defined, as a result there was an unpleasant delay in settling in. Once we gained access we noticed large carpenter ants all over and there was dirt and garbage on the floor under the sofa. This is what was obviously visible, I can’t image the filth that was not immediately visible. I do not recommend this property.」
