Welcome to Ostenfeld near Husum!

Our house, which is very centrally located yet in a quiet area, offers the ideal setting for an enjoyable stay: Whether you’re planning trips to the North Sea or the Baltic Sea (e.g., for swimming in St. Peter-Ording or Eckernförde, canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding on the Treene River or in Schleswig on the Schlei), shopping in Flensburg or Husum, or taking a gondola ride through the canals of Friedrichstadt—you can reach all of these destinations in 45 minutes or less. Whether you just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings or seek adventure through surfing, hiking, biking, and more—there’s something for everyone here!
This cozy first-floor apartment, with plenty of space across approximately 48 square meters, features a bathroom with natural light and a shower/tub combination, as well as one bedroom for two people and an additional room (living area) with a sleeper sofa that can be pulled out to accommodate 1–2 children. When extended, the sofa provides a sleeping surface measuring 140 cm x 190 cm and, thanks to the comfortable mattress topper, becomes a cozy haven for sleeping and relaxing. This room also features a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, and coffee maker.
The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 5 and up). If you are traveling as a couple but still need separate bedrooms, we would appreciate it if you could let us know when booking.

We’re an animal-loving household! That’s why your family dog is also welcome to vacation with us.

When the weather is nice—as is customary in North Frisia—our “Klönschnack” bench in the front yard invites you to wind down the day with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.

On rainy days, you can get cozy in front of our flat-screen TV with MagentaTV and stream Netflix, Disney+, WOW (formerly Skyticket), or Amazon Prime Video.
If needed, you can even work remotely from our separate, quiet workspace thanks to our fast internet connection. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, included!

A special highlight: Sports enthusiasts can look forward to a very well-equipped workout room (including barbells, kettlebells, Corebags, a treadmill, etc.), and the town features a skate park and an outdoor pool (a 5-minute walk).

The large, free parking lot in front of the house also offers space to park a RV, a trailer, or a car with a trailer—ideal for surfers, sailors, SUPers, etc.
