"Lovely hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, great location for transit, nice view, very efficient room layout, comfy bed, and nice to have a/c for the warm nights."
"The beds were amazing and the place was very quiet to sleep. Hotel bars and restaurants where also top notch, very high end property to stay at when in Oslo."

Karl Johan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable. Location was perfect."
"The room was a bit small but it had everything we needed, excellent bathroom facilities, places for luggage, coffee and tea, a good shower. The location is excellent for the opera and the Munch Museum and transportation is easy for other parts of Oslo. We liked this hotel very much. Also an excellent breakfast and good restaurants nearby. Everything looks very new in this area. And it is next to the train station."
"We appreciated the location near all modes of transportation. The contemporary design and comfort of the facility enhanced our experience and encourages us to return. We will recommend the Comfort Express to our friends. "
"The rooms are quite small however quite adequate for the time we were in our room. My daughter and I arrived for a cycling trip with our two bikes so it was squishy however we made it work. The hotel is in the city centre close to the water and shopping areas. The buffet breakfast is provided in the neighbouring Egan restaurant. It was the most comprehensive and amazing breakfast we have enjoyed all trip. Emily at the front reception gets a HUGE shoutout for going above and beyond to help us ship our bike box to Bergen for our return home and it was not an easy task. She was just such an amazing and engaging person. She was working well above her position. "
"The hotel was fairly convenient / walkable to most of the main areas of Oslo - {a bit further away from the Portside if you arrive via boat / ferry but only around 10 mins from Oslo train station..🚉
Very clean but simple rooms , great bathroom / shower (not all rooms have a view at all - internal courtyard only)"
