Very unique, quiet, good and amazing breakfast. All the facilities are very nice, tidy and clean. Owners also recommended us to a very nice fine dining restaurants at the Port Perry. We definitely recommend to our friends to come and visit, just one hour drive from Toronto. Patrick
We spent a lovely weekend here while in Oshawa for an event at Durham College.
The hosts were welcoming and extremely responsive. The breakfasts were amazing and their farm store selling honey, eggs, and dog food is worth a visit.
They do have a large dog that sometimes barks but she never came into the guest area at all.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
-hosts were delightful but intrusive (could have had instructions to hand out so check - in is brief)
-area is NOT separate from their living area, they need to install doors to separate sound and give privacy
-interrupted us twice while we were trying to relax
-dog barked a lot even in the middle of the night
- large not people friendly dog should be gated in at least their area
- could hear them upstairs while we were trying to sleep (TV, footsteps)
- told that if we chose other room that we would hear the host making breakfast
-told that we might be woken up late by flashing lights bec the host is walking the dog (we heard barking)
- very clean, lovely view, kind people but just not private or relaxing
This was a wonderful experience with excellent customer service. The hosts were superb, so gracious, accommodating and helpful. The view was beautiful and the breakfasts delicious. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.
Lovely hosts, had a nice welcome and were provided some interesting background info on the property. Thorough tour of our accommodations and common spaces and fun anecdotes about decor choice and got a great sense of the fun, warm personality of the hosts. Super cool fish tank in the dining/sitting room is a nice feature. Breakfast was so nice, and the view from the common area and the Grandview room were a treat to wake up to. Absolutely would stay here again. Clean space run by super accommodating, kind family who really look after you and make you feel welcome every second of your stay. A pleasure.
We stayed at Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast for two nights over the Civic holiday long weekend and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed.
The room was spotless, with a comfortable queen bed and rustic decor. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged.
The homemade breakfasts were a highlight — freshly baked muffins, fruit from the garden, delicious farm fresh eggs, fresh brewed coffee, toast and raw honey from their own bee hives and local apple cider.
Our hosts, Petra and Martin, were gracious, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us great recommendations for local hot spots and restaurants.
The B&B is tucked away in the gorgeous Enniskillen Valley minutes from surrounding communities. There’s plenty of parking and beautiful countryside all around.
Overall, it was a cozy, peaceful escape. We’d absolutely return and recommend Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a personal and relaxing getaway.

Pietra and Martin are amazing people, the hospitability is exceptional, the stay was over 9.8/10.... and plus great place to get fresh ecological honey .. one of the best B&B if not the best and the #1 of all have been (and I have been over 50 over tru years
even in a tornado style situation (winds over 170km/h) they have been exceptional
We stayed last Sunday night and enjoyed the room, facilities, and the phenomenal breakfast and conversation with Martin and Petra. Petra in particular is a local expert on things to do so pick her brain! Much can be said but keeping it short, I will say that you get more than advertised, which is amazing! We wanted to stay the Monday (Thanksgiving) evening too but it was already booked up. That pretty much sums it up. We will be back God-willing! Thank you Martin and Petra!

Petra and Martin were very welcoming, the property is beautiful and my stay was so relaxing.
This is the perfect place to stay for comfort and peace. The room was beautiful and the view was just beautiful. Petra's breakfast was out of this world. I am looking forward to many more visits!
Martin and Petra are great hosts. They make you feel like it truly is your home and you've known them for years. The room was exactly what was pictured; clean, well maintained, with a comfortable bed. My wife's and my careers have a lot of stress attached, and it was the first truly good night's sleep we've had in ages. Food is locally sourced, where possible. They are beekeepers as well, so try some of their honey. What they are not, in spite of what you may read elsewhere, are mink farmers. Apparently an over-zealous animal-rights group took video of a local farm and then gave a bunch of one-star ratings around for the B&B. That's too bad, because they are unrelated businesses owned by different people. So, don't believe everything you read. Or, more importantly, if you see anything less than a 5 star rating for this place, go farther back into the reviews than February 2018, when their B&B was spammed by this group to read what people had to say that actually stayed here. You'll be glad you did.
