"We stayed for 2 nights at Friday to Sunday. We liked that we could check in as early as 2pm. We were close to St Ives and all the amenities there. The receptionist was lovely on arrival and showed us to our room, and the information pack. The room was a good size for the 2 of us. Whilst we were staying there we could go around the Raptor Foundation on site, while it was open. There was a sink, toaster, fridge and microwave in the room, plus crockery and cutlery for light meals while we were staying there. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of plug sockets. A few niggles that prevent an excellent rating. The water pressure in the shower was low. Water was hot, but it took longer to complete a wash. The sofa/sofa bed was a bit low for us, and I found it hard to stand up from (old knees ). Finally we would have preferred a proper table and chairs for eating at, our room had 2 tiny (but reasonably tall wooden stools) and a butchers block type thing. I found it too uncomfortable to use (I'm 5ft 2, so short). Otherwise, a lovely stay."

"Stewart and Nikki are most welcoming and friendly hosts making us feel at home right away. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable with some lovely touches to put a smile on your face. They provided us with a very nice breakfast too. We would highly recommend using their guesthouse."

The Lodge at Hemingford Grey House

"Stayed for just one night but really liked this property even though it was maybe a little expensive for just a 'room only' stay. Beautiful location in the private grounds of an old rectory surrounded by well kept gardens. Parking was in the grounds nearby and felt very secure. The check-in and arrival instructions were excellent, wi-fi connection was good and the room was clean with complimentary toiletries and coffee/tea. Our room was in the lodge building and was classed as small and cozy but it felt quite roomy with comfy chairs and table. It was a perfect size for our stay."

"The generous sized kitchen was well equipped and provided more than the mere essentials. Dishwasher and washing machines were very easy to use and efficient. There were also lovely touches that made the kitchen feel very homely and welcoming."
