「The room was $250. The description was 'motel-like', but was more like Motel 6-like. OK, the room was dreary, but the bathroom was horrible. The sink and tub area were water damaged and moldy. The exhaust fan was clogged with dust and the shower curtain was torn. And there were ant traps under the horrible sink cabinet tossed in near the hair dryer. Oh, yeah...the coffee machine, which was stuck in the closet, did not work.」

「The Roosevelt is an old school, family owned motel. We were checked in by the owner and she was very helpful about the local area. The rooms were clean and the parking was easy and convenient. There is nothing fancy here- but if all you need is a clean place to sleep- this is your spot.」

「Not a cheap place ! Let’s start with the smell - strong marijuana smell, and we were traveling with 11 yers old kid. Not family friendly. The room wasn’t clean, everything outdated. We couldn’t close the bathroom door all the way. Misleading advertising. The website stated there is a free breakfast and free Wi Fi. Well, none of that. “ Free breakfast “ was coffee and hot water. No toasters, no bread. None. “ Free Wi Fi” is only if you sign up for a membership, if not you have to pay. And more…...

「This is a lovely bed and breakfast directly across from the Vanderbilt estate, close to FDR library and Culinary institute of Art. The owners are delightful and provide delicious breakfast and helpful tips for sightseeing. Highly recommend.」

「We brought our dog with us. We had a room right by the exit. It was clean. Breakfast was great. One thing I would say is make sure you understand the dog fee before you go there there was stores very close for anything you forgot, which made it super convenient. I would definitely stay there again.」

「Although only for one night, we had a lovely and comfortable stay. Pat, the owner, checked in with us before we arrived…, to be sure we were set. Complimentary beverages and snacks were so welcome after a long day on the road. We crashed on the couch and nibbled before we called it a nite.(just right mattress and pillows). In the morning (shower was great) we had good choices from the laid out continental breakfast. Nicole, the manager, welcomed us and asked if we needed any thing more. ...

「Hotel reopened two days prior to our stay. Barry, the property owner, greeted us upon our arrival and explained that there was everything we may need in the lobby: coffee, tea, water, snacks etc. Our room and king sized bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom with free standing soaking tub. The view of the Hudson River from our balcony was spectacular. Wish we had a clearer night to see sunset over the Hudson. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends and...

「First Lady at the desk was rude and dismissive from the start and straight up walked away without saying anything. This then turned into a 25-30 minute wait with nobody at the front desk to assist. When the lady eventually came back, she had an even crappier attitude. The second guy (Kevin) was a not much better….
