"Our stay at the resort was excellent. We had a blast. As someone who does not eat any meat or seafood, the vegetarian and fish selections were plentiful and yummy. Our room was perfect for our needs, except the towels were not changed when left on the floor, and it would be nice if the hotel would use fabric softener on their towels. I would also mention that the toilet paper should be softer. The idea of the room key on the app is unique (for me, but half the time I had no internet service. The pools were awesome, the bartenders at the pool were amazing, plus we taught them a new drink. NanaLimon. And, amazingly, there was never a line at the bathrooms."

"Breakfast was very nice, and the place was clean, but the room was very small and noisy. The price was right and it was fine for one night before our flight. The hotel is set on a hill quite a ways from Coco Beach town and there is not much around. Outside of the main road, Coco is a bit ratty for being a tourist town."

"This place is amazing. We were sad that we only had one night here as we could have stayed for a week. The hotel is small - 6-8 rooms perched above the bay. The pool also overlooks the water and was such a treat to cool off from the heat. Mark is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful. The rooms were brilliantly laid out, modern, and comfortable. The small beach is about a 10-15 minute walk down the hill and lovely."

"The place is pretty cool! A unique stay. Definitely not a great place if you are planning on working since their WiFi is not the best. They do have a small coworking space but the lighting is kinda bad and bad WiFi as well. Aside from that, everything was great! The plunge pool was nice, the rooms nice and clean, and breakfast was small but good."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the beach that made our stay truly special. Everything was just as described, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location.The host was fantastic—welcoming, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. You could really tell they cared about making sure we had a great experience.We loved our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!"
Spectacular View Luxury Villa, Overlooking Ocean at Bahia Pez Vela Resort

"Gwendolyn’s place is amazing. It was immaculate and well stocked. She is eager to answer questions, friendly and readily available when needed (via the VRBO messaging). The property managers (Jacki and Caesar) are also very friendly and responsive. It is directly next to the property’s upper infinity pool, but it felt like our own private pool because we only saw people there one time in our 6 days. Gwen has beach towels for you and even a couple of beach chairs if you need them. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, a good many spices and a coffee maker (with filters). You will need to buy extra paper towels and bring laundry detergent/dryer sheets.The neighborhood has a lovely private beach with paddle boarding and snorkeling gear onsite. It is about a five minute walk from the house to the beach, but I definitely recommend driving your vehicle because the hill is very steep. There is parking for guests, but you will need to arrive early enough to grab a spot. You can also get a massage at the beach or lounge in one of the three infinity pools, while enjoying lunch from the Soluna restaurant. The location of the house is very convenient to a ton of activities. La Leona waterfall is 1.5 hours (ask for Brandon if you go and tell him the Pittmans said hi), Palo Verde riverboat cruise is less than two hours, Diamonte Wildlife Park is less than an hour. We also beach hopped a couple of days. We will definitely return to this house. Amazing in every way!"

"Beautiful house in a great location. The layout was perfect for our family and the staff was so nice. They cleaned daily and were very helpful and responsive on all communication. It was the perfect home away from home on our vacation!"
