"Our group of friends, kids and dogs had the best time! The house was perfect and really well stocked. High chair, dog toys, beach towels, so many pots and pans. It truly had everything! It was a great location just a couple steps from a beach access and a quick drive to grocery and other shops. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. "

"The home was nice and we will visit Corolla again. We came prepared with cups to use a Keurig coffe maker. There isn't one.🥴 We will definitely require a home with an Elevator and direct Oceanfront. We are a party of 12 in our 70s and 80s. We'll be in touch to reserve another home."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunesbury. The check-in process was extremely smooth and efficient. The beds were very comfortable, and the house felt cozy. It was conveniently located with easy access to the beach. Would highly recommend "

"Our family has stayed at Mermaid Cottage many years. Two years ago, it was not available, so our family stayed at a very modern, really big house in a similar location. Funny, though, everyone (4 adults) preferred Mermaid Cottage. It was perfect for what we needed. It was, and should be, a Beach House!!! Exactly what we loved!"

"Unfortunately there were some issues, and overall we were disappointed. I’m not sure if you’ve been onsite to see the property, but the pictures do not accurately display the current status. Certain features were listed as an amenity, but were not functional. The foosball table is rusted and falling apart. The basketball goal is bent. The shower curtains and windows have black mold. There were also 3 rat bait stations surrounding the home, and made it difficult to ensure no one came into contact. I’m not sure why they would have 3 bait stations around a home that size? The downstairs room was not a habitable room. I have pictures if you need a reference of the status. I appreciate the property mangers professionalism and customer service, but I will have to provide a transparent rating and review of the property to ensure other families and personnel have an accurate description."

"Our group of 22 had a wonderful week at this home! Mike and Carol were exceptional hosts and were quick to respond to my many questions! The large kitchen is the heart of this home and was a perfect gathering spot for our large group! Thank you for an amazing home to host our family vacation!"
