"Sand was all over the floor throughout the room, bathroom sink was clogged with food, no personal contact with any live person ( just had to interact thru text messages)…. Yes, I’m from the older generation where people really talk to each other! There was a small a/c unit that made an awful loud noise while running, and the temp fluctuated from extremely hot to extremely cold before the unit would come on. No ice available onsite…. Even though there were “renovations” going on, the place was extremely run down and there was no mention of the renovations when we booked online!!! Very disappointed from the quality portrayed on their website and the actual physical condition of the place once we arrived 😔"

"I usually don’t leave 5 star reviews. My wife and I decided to take a day trip to the beach and booked a room at the Sand Dunes hotel. It was ocean front room, two queen beds, full sized fridge, microwave, balcony with two chairs. Stayed on the third floor. The only bad part was there was limited opportunity to wash feet before heading back in after walking on the beach. We found a hose near front of hotel. Other than that it was perfect. "

"The hotel was great. Wished the pool area was open even if it was to just use the lounge chairs. Also, in the pictures it looks like there is a deck to sit on by your room but there is not. Lots of great places to eat and shops to go to."

"For the off season price, this had excellent value. Away from the busier part of the beach but very close to shop, dining, and beach. Had the pool been open that would have been nice but unfortunately the pool wasnt open yet. Would stay there again for a quick gettaway. "

"The rooms were very clean. I just don’t like how all the buildings separate . The room doors face the outside, but there is an elevator. The room decor is very beautiful and the rooms are very spacious and clean. I just wish the hotel was all connected and inside one building , but that’s just my personal preference. The price for the stay was great during off season. You do hear noise from outside and kids running around. There was also a lot of construction next door that kept me up during the wee hours of the morning . "

"Great property! It is clean, well-appointed with high-end finishes, stocked with plenty of kitchen staples, lots of “extras” such as beach equipment, bikes and games and has a good layout for a multi-generational family. The property has really good views to be one house back from oceanfront and the reverse living, open design floor plan really maximizes that. The elevator is a definite plus for navigating the levels with luggage and supplies but is a must for those who are step-challenged so that made the property invaluable to us. A heads up for future guests…parking is a bit tight. The homeowners clearly state in the listing that there is room for one car in the garage and two in the driveway so they are completely upfront about the number of vehicles and are not trying to conceal anything. There are also photos of the parking arrangements in the listing so there are no unknowns. Just be aware that if you have multiple SUV’s or an oversized truck and do have the maximum of three vehicles on the property, it’s pretty close. Also, know that there are no TVs in the lower floor bedrooms. This is a great property and I would not hesitate to stay again.
