"Very disappointed about the maintenance of the hotel. The door of the room is extremely difficult to open or close. Had to use strong force , entire body or kicking to open or close. I was concerned during fire emergency, would be very difficult to open the open the door while I am inside the room. Requested to change the room. The front desk clerk said they recently change the lock. All of the rooms are the same. It doesn’t help if they change room for us. I noticed they put a metal plate around the side of the door. It makes the door almost like jammed in between. My stay at the hotel was not as pleasant as I expected."

"Had a terrific stay at Totem Tides. We greatly appreciated the small touches such as snacks and coffee. Fenced in backyard was great for letting the dogs out. The house is clean, better than advertised, and the owner was very easy to work with. Will happily return. "
