"We had a tremendous experience at Melter. The location was fantastic with SO much within walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and food carts located just outside of the hotel. The train station is also very close and easy to access. The hotel staff was the true difference maker though. They were so friendly, always available for a recommendation, and told us many extra things to explore on days we left the city for our other excursions. Lukas, Laura and Hannah were particularly lovely and helpful. We would absolutely stay here the next time we are in Germany!"

"Location was ok. They didn’t have parking we had to find other public parking. When we arrived there was a large student group clogging the lobby for check in. I tried to use the self check in but it didn’t work. The guest kitchen is super tiny but functional for our needs."

"Staff very rude or not helpful. Gave attitude of we were bothering them. We were told at check in we could charge breakfast to room. Lady at breakfast said no we couldn’t. Went to pay they said yes to charging to room. Lady at breakfast again said no. Finally they let us eat but we had to pay. Next day we just paid up front. Terrible attitudes. No phones in room to call front desk. If you needed towels or toilet paper you had to go to front desk to get it. Felt crappy having to take roll of paper from front desk clerk as they were checking in people "

"Breakfast was great but was ask did I wanted to include breakfast for the three days then learning at checkout it cost $38.79/day for food & 16.60/day for beverages I would have bought breakfast at another location "

"Room was mostly clean upon arrival, there was Air conditioning was alright but not the best. "

"The staff was so helpful and friendly. We loved the design of the room, the gorgeous view, and of course the pool/sauna/gym. Location is right in the old town, so perfect base to walk everywhere. Would stay here again, and we are quite sad to leave! "
