Welcome to the cozy "Ingelore" vacation rental with a magnificent view of Betzenstein.

The small town of Betzenstein is located in the heart of the "Franconian Switzerland" Nature Park region, where hikers, climbers, and cyclists can find ideal opportunities for relaxation in nature. Visiting castles and caves offers an interesting change of pace, especially on days when the weather isn’t ideal. If you’re looking for a bit more action and want to see other tourists, the much better-known destinations of Pottenstein and Gößweinstein—10 and 15 kilometers away, respectively—are easy to reach.

If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, Betzenstein also offers plenty to do. To cool off and unwind, we recommend a visit to the outdoor pool with its spacious sunbathing lawns. It’s just 300 meters away via an easy hiking trail. Directly above the outdoor pool is the Betzenstein Adventure Park, which offers plenty of thrills and challenges. This climbing forest has been around for 20 years and blends so beautifully into the woods and rocks that it seems as though it has always been there.
For younger children, we have a wonderfully designed nature playground and a soccer field just 50 meters from the house. Since the house is located on a narrow street used only by residents, children can play outside relatively safely.

Shopping Options
You can find delicious Franconian meats and sausages at the local butcher shop “Wirth.” Tobacco products and essentials are available at the gas station. Larger shopping trips can be done at REWE and ALDI, located 5 km away at the Plech highway exit.

Accommodations
The 45-square-meter attic apartment on the 2nd floor features two spacious, covered wooden balconies where you’re sure to spend most of your time. Thanks to their south and west orientations, you’ll enjoy sunshine all day long. If it ever gets too hot, the awning provides relief.
In the bedroom, a comfortable 2×1.6-meter double bed ensures a restful night’s sleep. There’s also a large round dining table with 4 chairs.
The living room features a comfortable corner sofa that can also be converted into a bed for two children or one adult.
The spacious bathroom has a comfortable bathtub—which can also be used for showering—and is strictly decorated in a 1970s style.
In the kitchen, in addition to the stove and refrigerator, you’ll find a kettle, a coffee press (Bodrum), and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. If anything is missing, we’ll be happy to help.
For sustainability reasons, we deliberately chose not to replace the furniture. Everything you need is there and works perfectly, even without an instruction manual. You can enjoy the student atmosphere without a care in the world.

Amenities
There’s Wi-Fi and an old cassette recorder.
Fresh bed linens and towels are provided.
A portable safety gate secures the wooden staircase for children.

Parking is available directly in front of the garage. Bicycles and e-bikes can be stored in the garage.
