We had our 16yr old son with us and itvis jard finding rooms that can accomadate another bed that isnt sone uncomfy pullout. He had a bed that was just as comfortable as us. To bad they didnt have toom availsbke for second night as we would loved to of stayed another night"

"We had a fabulous short stay here. The hotel is very close to Wengen station and we managed to walk up the hill with our (small) cases without too much bother. Check in was with the lovely Miriem (sorry if I've got that wrong!) who showed us around and gave us plenty of information about the hotel. The room was good (deluxe double with balcony), beds were comfortable with plenty of space. Bathroom was basic but clean. There were lovely little welcome touches, such as a personalised card and biscuits. There's a kettle (hoorah!) and a coffee machine. But the absolute best part was the incredible view, which actually brought us to tears as we were so overwhelmed. We were lucky enough to be in a corner room with two balconies so had morning coffee on one overlooking beautiful chalets and the valley and evening drinks on the other for sundown. We made use of the outdoor swimming pool (6 francs) which is just a few minutes walk away and we had a quick walk through the town which looked very lovely and lively. We'd planned to go for drinks and some live music but were too tired from our excursions to Interlaken so just enjoyed drinks on the hotel terrace instead. We popped to Lauterbrunnen to see the waterfalls as this is only a 10 minute train ride down the mountain. We were also lucky enough to meet the hotel's resident dog, Caramel, who came to give us a friendly welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back!!"

Any negative reviews must be from competitors or people who booked beyond their budget because this hotel is nothing short of incredible. While it’s rated as a four-star hotel, it could easily be considered five stars based on the level of service, quality, and experience they provide. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that both the owners and staff take immense pride in their work. Their hospitality was unmatched. My flight was delayed due to a plane crash at Toronto airport, and without me even asking, they adjusted my reservation by a day to accommodate the delay—truly above and beyond service. The food is absolutely spectacular, the spa is amazing, and the views? Breathtaking. The rooms are luxurious, with massive 700 sq. ft. suites overlooking the Alps—pure perfection. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape from city life or a first-class experience in the mountains, this is the place to be. I’m appalled by any criticism of the owners. They are some of the most welcoming and accommodating people I’ve ever met in the hospitality industry. Thank you for an unforgettable stay—I’ll be returning yearly!"
