"The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!"
"Alicia’s cabin was the most magical and perfect getaway. Everything was as advertised and was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. I’m glad Alicia listed instructions on how to get to the property because it is easy to miss on the drive in. She was very responsive and helpful with all of the local recommendations. It felt a bit strange at first, renovating an old American house into a guesthouse, but it was a truly special experience for us.
It felt similar to the old residential environment we saw at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Monticello, and it will remain a new memory, unlike any we've experienced on our previous trips to the US.

"We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "
