"This was our second time staying at the house, and the owners have made some solid updates, which made our stay mostly better than before. The new counter top and cabinets were new and clean. The addition of a dish towel (though we brought our own, just in case) made clean up easier. We were really excited about the enclosed outdoor shower, but we were a little disappointed as the water pressure wasn't great and the hot and cold water cycled, which meant inconsistent temps. In the end, we ended up just taking showers in the bathroom. Obviously, what makes this house fantastic is the beach front. It is just fantastic to sit on the deck when beach time is over. We had some weird weather during this trip - some rain, good storms, dead calm, hot and humid - finally a solid day of sun the last day. The deck was used a bit more than we expected. We will stay there again, for sure. Its just perfect for two folks - we just wish the bed was bigger. We also wish we could bring a dog, but we also understand why we cannot. "

"Great beach house, clean and plenty of space. Short walk to public beach access, only downside was no laundry on site but otherwise awesome and would stay again!"

"We loved this house! It was very cozy and comfortable and we literally were steps from the sand. It looked exactly as pictured and was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. And this is a great place for little kids (built-in baby gates at the stairs) and tons of sand toys and an inflatable pool. Plenty of beach chairs and towels too. The stairs, while they looked a little tricky in the picture, were very manageable and the view of the beach from the second floor balcony is definitely worth the climb. We used the bedrooms on the main floor but did go downstairs to use the washer/dryer. The owners were incredibly kind and responsive. We will definitely be back!!"

"We loved our night at Captain Cove. It was so nostalgic of my family road trips as a kid. Yes, it's very 80's Roadside Motel inside the rooms, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and my kids LOVED the pool. Quick walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants around. You can also grill in their adorable courtyard. Would definitely go back!"

"We had a lovely time in this cozy cottage by the waterway and minutes from the beach. Easy walking distance, great location for sunsets and sunrises. We brought our puppy and she had ample space to roam outdoors. We cooked some meals and had a great time reconnecting together as a family."
