Elegance of an old and spacious Grand Hotel but extremely well-kept Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and birds. Quiet. Ample rooms and bathroom. Superb outdoor and very decent indoor pools. Great breakfast and restaurant, as well as poolside food. Wide range of activities for families with children, as well as for adults.

El precio del restaurante es carísimo. He viajado a muchísimos países de 5 continentes y comido en restaurantes lujosos y el del Nirvana fue el almuerzo y cena más caro que pagué en mi vida. Además la comida no fue muy buena.

me trae buenos recuerdos, de tiempos pasados con la familia... me encanta el parque y los animales. algunas partes del hotel sería deseable fueran renovadas.

Excelentes instalaciones, espléndidas piscinas y muy buen comedor con exquisitas recetas. El personal todo excelente y la limpieza impecable, lo único es que extrañamos un poco la TV que no hay en las habitaciones.

Hieno vanhempi sveitsiläistyylinen kylpylähotelli

Hotelli sijaitsee Nueva Helveciassa eli Uruguayn noin 160 vuotta vanhassa sveitsiläiskoloniassa. Tyylikäs ja jämptisti hoidettu 1900-luvun alun hotelli, johon on lisätty nykyajan kylpylämukavuuksia, mm. lämminvesiallas sisällä, kuntosali, hierontamahdollisuus ym. Suuri ulkoallas ja hyvin hoidettu laaja piha-alue tenniskenttineen. Ratsastusmahdollisuus yms. Asiakkaille ja erityisesti lapsille päivittäin aikataulutettua ohjelmaa. Ravintolassa runsas aamiainen, ystävällinen tarjoilu sekä maistuvat ala carté -annokset. Lauantai-iltana oli myös seisova pöytä. Neuva Helvecian kaupunkiin kannattaa tutustua, ja kävelymatka on normaalikuntoiselle kohtuullinen: evankelinen kirkko, hautausmaa, vanha koulu ja vanhainkoti; Plaza de los Fundadoresilla on katolinen kirkko ja kolonian perustajien muistomerkki, sen laidalla käsityöläismyymälä, jossa hoitaja Ane Lise kertoo myös kolonian historiasta; Avenida Federico Gilomenilla on Tante Eva -artesaanisuklaapuoti ja kahvio sekä lännempänä kaupungin museo. Siistissä kunnossa olevissa yksityistaloissa on omistajaperheen ”kotikantonin” vaakunoita. Kaupungissa on sen kokoon nähden yllättävän paljon kauppaliikkeitä ja palveluita, joitakin ravintoloita, esim. hyvin sveitsiläistyylisessä yli satavuotiaassa Granja Hotel Suizassa on hyvää ruokaa ja palveluita matkailuautoilijoille. Kaiken kaikkiaan kaupunkiin aikanaan muuttaneiden sveitsiläisten, saksalaisten ja itävaltalaisten vaikutus on kaikkialla nähtävissä. Kannattaa kokeilla kolonian juustoja!

Un lugar muy especial

Un lugar diferente a todo. Muy buena opcion para desconectarse de todo (ej.: las habitaciones no tienen tv). Todo el personal muy atento y calido. Buena comida en eñ restaurante y muy buen desayuno. Recomemdable para quienes necesiten un descanso.
