Staying in a property while visiting the Normandy Beach area that had been occupied by Germans for two years prior to the invasion made the experience special. For the price it’s a really good deal. 「The property is a beautiful bed and breakfast (guest house) in a revamped old mansion. There are five rooms, ours was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Michael and Giles are wonderful hosts, friendly outgoing and fun. The (included) breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip to France, Giles is the chef and makes almost everything that is served from scratch. You will need to manoeuvre some stairs and be careful of some low ceilings and beams but I doubt there is a better place...
