「Upon arriving we had a very nice greeting from a younger female ~ very quick and easy checkin with a smile. Room okay. Not the cleanest of rooms. The pool area closed down it’s water slide early due to lack of staffing. Was told it would open first thing in the morning at 8:00. Kids raced down to pool area in the morning only to find out that they wouldn’t be opening the slide until 1:00 pm. Big bummer. We then went to grab a quick bite for breakfast at 9:45. 「Location was beautiful on Lake Superior and being able to sit on porch and see sunset over the lake was breathtaking. Front desk sraff very friendly. However, room was a bit outdated and did not get room cleaned with fresh towels for a 2 night stay.」

「Rooms smelt musty, damp and old. The air conditions in all 3 rooms my family were in looked like the filters have never been cleaned. Disappointed that they were in such bad shape. We've stayed here many times before and they weren't a whole lot better. We will think twice before we stay there again.」

「We got there and the front desk staff was lacking energy and talked very softly. The hotel does not have an elevator which was not advertised and was an issue. It took a manager to come in and get us all checked in, We went to our room and the bed wasn't made. The room was not clean. We then headed back to the front desk and it took another 15 minutes to get a clean room. The pool was also closed. Not a great experience.」
