「The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations.」

Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!」

No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. 「We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view was absolutely amazing - the river and Mt. Baker are gorgeous. Everything is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating meals, playing games and working a puzzle on the large dining room table. The proximity to North Cascades was very convenient and allowed us to explore the park multiple times. Communication with the owner, Nick was pleasant and timely. Would love to come back someday!」

「What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. Thanks for sharing your cabin!」

「Back deck is beautiful with great view….however all furniture was covered with dust and pollen so we could not sit out and enjoy it. We had a comforter and two folded towels in bathroom covered with dog hair from previous guest. We just washed and used anyway. Despite those two small issues, we had a great time and the house was adorable, well supplied, and dog friendly. We would definitely stay there again!」

「Large house with beautiful views and a cozy setup. The master bedroom upstairs was like a retreat with is soaking tub. House was well appointed and clean. Enough space for 4 adults to have privacy.」

「My husband and I stayed here with our friends and it was an absolute delight ! The place was extremely speck and tidy and very comfortable . The view from the cabin is amazing , even thou the cabin was in a gated community we had all the privacy . Hot tub and ev charger were bonus points for this particular cabin ! It is just 30 mins drive from artist point, Mount Baker , so great to go exploring . We will definitely come again and refer to our friends !」

「Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. 」

「Quaint, quiet, secluded, and peaceful... The perfect place to unplug and enjoy the relaxed pace of "island time". Soaking in the private hot tub under the stars is absolutely amazing! We always travel with our dog, Penny. It's often difficult to find places that accept pets; so, this cabin is a true gem! Lorry is a great host who truly wants you to enjoy your stay. We loved it so much that we booked it again for my birthday. M&B」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Castle. We had a big room with a great view. It's across the street from the water and the sunsets were beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. I wish they had daily cleaning. I'm not sure why they don't. We were switching out our towels and taking out our garbage. Part of a great vacation is getting away from that. It was really nice to have a kitchen, but the handle on the oven was broken and the microwave vent fell off. The carpets could use...
