"OK, let's get things straight. This is a super cheap hotel in an excellent location in a capital city. SO, do not expect anything less than adequate having paid pennies for it. It says excellent as it says on the tin and the bad reviews are correct but out of context. I paid £24 in a capital city......bedroom was adequate and private bathroom (although seperate) was adequate. I stayed in room 6 and I would not feel safe leaving any valuable things in that room due to the door being shabby but...

I am very satisfied with this affordable choice, because driving to/from borovets is easy by microbus going each 1/2 hour from Samokov bus station for price 1.30 BGN only. "We’ve been staying at this hotel every time we fly in or out of Sofia and we always have a great experience. The hotel staff is friendly, rooms are spacious and spotless clean, beds are comfortable. There is free parking and it’s easy to get around by car or taxi. We’ve used the hotel airport shuttle in the past but we had a car this time, otherwise it was a great option to get to the airport. Overall the excellent hotel and they’ve continuously kept the level of service over the years. Highly recommend! "
