"The Inn at Shasta Lake was a quaint bed and breakfast located about 20 minutes outside of Redding. It was quiet and peaceful here. They allow pets in certain rooms which is nice if you're traveling with dogs! I enjoyed how communicative the staff were. If you needed something, you can text a number and they were on it! They advertise that you may not have service here, but we had service and they also had wifi. They had great views outside on the deck. The grounds were nicely maintained. It was very easy to get here and right off highway 5. On the other hand, being a bed and breakfast I was expecting breakfast to be a bit better tasting. Breakfast is included in your stay. They provide fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, and toast. You get to also choose one main entree served with a side of potatoes. The main entree rotates so it's different daily. Overall breakfast could definitely be improved taste wise, but it's very convenient and nice of them to do this. Another downfall was the temperature in the main lobby/ dining area. They ran it hot in there and if you needed to get ice (they don't have ice machines, so they provide buckets of ice) it was all melted. This happened twice. Minor complaints!"

"The place is a unique setting with lots of flowers and a lovely pond, quite picturesque. It's a little gem and the grounds have been recently upgraded. Nice renovations and improvements. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent, the staff was cordial and friendly."

"Room was clean, aside from the floors. They need to implement new mopping policies. The pool was great, with a 2ft pool section for kids. There’s a restaurant next door which was incredibly convenient, food was decent. For the price, this place was perfect for me and my family. I travel alone as a mom with two small children and I felt safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will return!"

"Upon checkout, my car was parked in the end spot in the middle of the parking lot. The parking lot right off the side of the casino in front. I placed my things in the trunk, this upset a huge swarm of wasps all congregate on the ground and bushes next to the drivers side of my car. They were thousands of wasps. They thankfully didnt sting me but we're actively keeping me away from the car. I had to enter my car from the passenger side. This could have been a major issue. Please identify this area and have it attended to before something bad happens. Thank you."
