「We booked Bjerkvik Hotel purely for its convenient location before an early morning flight from Evenes Airport, but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The hotel sits at the end of the fjord, with lovely views across the water to the surrounding mountains. The staff were highly efficient, friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable and well presented. A great little hotel and an excellent option for travellers needing easy access to the airport.」

「Een zeer mooi hotel op een unieke locatie in het noorden van Noorwegen. Restaurant had ook erg lekker eten. Uitzichten vanaf de berg naast het hotel maakten het mooie van het eiland Sommarøy goed zichtbaar. Aanrader bij het hotel is om de sauna in te gaan en dan in de ijskoude zee te duiken. Een andere aanrader, als je in het voorjaar in de buurt bent, om de husky puppy training te doen bij Villmarkssenter. Wij hadden twee groepjes van 8 puppies om mee te trainen, te spelen en te knuffelen. Ze...

「Very nice hotel. Wonderful dinner. Very understanding about allergies. Walking distance to town. Only negative was we had to leave early and the receptionist said there would be a bag breakfast to take but never told the kitchen staff. The woman working in the morning was kind and helpful.」

「Though we went there on a day where the sky was overcast and dreary..it contrasted very well with the next day when the weather took a turn for the better. Pity though we thought we could see something in the waters but not much..just a bird or 2 dipping into the water for a fish. It can be quite private though moving of luggage was impossible with the flight of stairs. The unit next to us could see us but we could draw the blinds if we wanted. Though small, it's still pretty nice and I was glad...

「This is a lovely new hotel on a convenient location for the Tromso to Lofoten drive or vice versa. It is also close to the Hurtigruten museum which is so interesting to visit on a wet day. The hotel is modern and spacious with an aesthetic bar area design. Cocktails were professionally made. Dinner was also good, if limited in choice. Superb breakfast selection. Our room had a high quality bed, tv and effective blackout curtains, a Norwegian summer necessity. We thought this hotel was excellent...
