「You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre. 「Every aspect of this property is exceptional. The staff are passionate, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure guests are well taken care of. The rooms have recently been renovated, and it shows. They offer all the modern comforts you would expect from a new hotel, while still preserving the classic character and historic charm of the property.
