「Excellent guest house with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fresh and nicely prepared, the staff helped us plan our day in Conwy better. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Will definitely recommend and stay again.」

「A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!」

「This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...

「Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...」

「A beautiful, well-maintained old (17C) building, complemented by the warm welcome from co-owner Elvira. We didn't meet her husband, but he was clearly hard at work in the kitchen. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms comfortable. The rooms felt quite opulent, with large mirrors, stained glass, pretty décor, a well-stocked ensuite bathroom, and deep beds. We slept and ate well!」
