「Simply perfect for a memorable stay in the heart of Dartmoor. We hadn't planned to stay until a few days before hand, but having seen the fantastic weather forecast decided to book (initially) a 1-night stopover on our way from Shropshire to Looe in Cornwall. 「ダートムーア国立公園の中心部にあるホテル。 古い建物を使っているが綺麗に保たれており、快適に過ごすことが出来た。 レストランでは近くにある蒸留所の地ビールも頂く事が出来、ディナーの際にはピアノの生演奏を聴きながら優雅に食事を楽しめた。 止まった部屋が2階だったからか、シャワーの出は少し弱め。 ただ、それ以外は完璧なホテルだった。ダートムーアに行った時にはまた泊まりたいと思う。」

「地図で見ると周りに何も目的になるものがなかったので心配したが、実際行ってみるととてもわかりやすく、しかも英国のカントリーサイドにふさわしい、すばらしい環境の所に建っていた。朝食をとった部屋の雰囲気も抜群で、日本では味わえない優雅な気持ちにさせられた。夕食はいつもバーで軽く飲み、スターターなどで十分で、この日もホテルの雰囲気のいいバーでのひとときを満喫できた。余り日本人は来ないそうだが、susiやtempuraのメニューがあった。シェフが日本で修業したことがあるので取り入れているとのことだった。」

「This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. 」

「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」

「Would not describe the as a Hotel,no human check in ,room and hotel nothing like the websire, breakfast and bar ,restaurant were an option when we booked but was later ammended Except breakfast still advertised that morning but wasn't available, No public area to sit,no bar open even though they advertised beer garden ,very dull place,we stayed 20 mins then left ,will be contacting hotel for refund 」
