Worst experience with the owner I have ever had. To start the vacation, Jim, the owner, calls me on the way and requires me to write instructions down. Not sure why an email or text wasn't sent instead, nonetheless we talked on the phone and got the information. Place is nice, a bit oddly laid out but great view and very clean. The day we were leaving, Jim, knocked on the door at 9:50am, an hour and 10 minutes before the checkout time. He barges into the room and starts fixing the dehumidifier that we were "required" to maintain during our stay. He made this clear by threating the security deposit if we had not. While he was putting the dehumidifier into the sink, he invites the service lady to come in and start cleaning the room. At this point we were still packing our things. This whole time the owner is complaining about someone else's bad review they just left and if it wasn't bad enough, he brings up politics! Had Jim called like he did at the beginning of the vacation and asked to come and clean the room early, this all could have been avoided. Yet, our vacation ended on a very sour note, and we will never stay here again.
