Lackluster rental property
Excellent location, disappointing property. We have friends in the same community and love the convenience of the beach access, distance to the grocery store and oceanfront dining. Unfortunately this property was lacking in many ways. It is obvious this is simply an investment property handled by a remote company. We had to ask cleaning to come back for a dirty bathroom and maintenance for a clogged tub.
There were a few beach items such as chairs and an umbrella but you would need to provide everything else from salt&pepper to toilet paper and trash bags. If we had wanted to do laundry there was no indication we would need to bring / buy those items either. We have never stayed in a more sparsely stocked vacation home than this. There were no instructions on what items may or may not be provided, so I packed many house hold items incase and so thankful we did.
The furnishings all appear to be from a thrift store with dirty couch/chairs and extremely uncomfortable beds. There were no extra blankets, pillows, towels or bath mats. The the shower only had one curtain so the water was always soaking the small towel like bath mat.
This could be an excellent family rental if the bedroom furniture was updated as well as making the living spaces more comfortable. Fairway Oaks is a great community but sadly this specific unit is not.
