「Very friendly host in the owner. It was a shame that the restaurant we were expecting , for evening meals, now closed due to a lack of a chef. The building is a quirky Elizabethan hotel with all the quirky uneven floors etc. 」

「Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered」

「We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon.」

「小さな村のとても静かなホテルでした。 部屋はこじんまりとしていて、洗面台とクローゼット、テレビとお湯を沸かすポットがありました。 お風呂は部屋の外にありましたが、シャワーがなく、バスダブだけでちょっと戸惑いました。。 でもちゃんと掃除が行き届いていたので、くつろげました。 ホテルの場所は分かりやすいので迷わずたどり着けました。 近くにレストランもいくつかあるので食事にも困らないです。 ただカードが使えない所が多いので、現金を持っていた方が心配ないと思います。 オーナーはいい人で、私は雨に濡れていたので、ドライヤーとアイロンをかして欲しいというと快く貸してくれました。 朝食がイングリッシュブレックファーストでちゃんとしていました。 この辺りに行くならお薦めです。」

「Lots of positives at this B&B. Very clean, lovely bedding and towels, great shower. Excellent breakfast. Good location. The room was a little cramped, and unfortunately we never had a view of the golf course.」

「Rosie and Bob provided us with the very best stay we could possibly hope for. Their BnB was ultra clean, spacious, well-supplied, comfortable, welcoming and decorated beautifully. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The home cooked English breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. I’d return to England JUST to stay there again!! 」

「We loved the Thomas Hardy connection, the history and the stories that Chris told us about the location and history. We loved the friendly atmosphere, warm welcome, and we felt more like family than tourists. We loved the room, the location, and the peace and quiet.loved the attention to detail and the sustainable and ecological energy and food production - so inspiring. Loved the garden tour - thank you Sally. There is nothing that we didn't love - and will be visiting again.....」

「Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
