"The facility and location are amazing, every detail has been considered on the property and facility however the staff training was lacking for such a hotel. You cannot operate a 5* hotel with 3* staff training. Potential to be amazing, but proper staff training required. "

"We were motorcycle touring and arrived drenched and cold well before check in time. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful, checking us in early, finding a place to dry our kit, reserving a table for meals etc. The pub is small, simple and cosy with great home made food. The evening was fantastic as the locals were all in singing traditional songs as this was the night before the Padstow Hobby Horse day (May 1st). Tiny downside was the walls are very thin and any noise in an adjacent room or in the bar below is hard to ignore. Overall, a great little pub with outstanding staff. "

"Excellent Vietnamese food with western options also available for evening meals. Good breakfast in a bright dining room. Bed was comfortable, shower was a very good size and with both a rain head and a detachable wand. Only detractor was a water pump which could be heard any time water was used from a number of rooms but this did not stop a good nights sleep. "
