「This apartment was so beautiful and located next to a charming Main Street with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and cute shops. It was perfect for the 3 of us at the end of our trip. It’s pretty close to Acadia National Park without all the regular drama of the crowd in Bar Harbor.」

「Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out. Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!」

「Comfortable quiet stay in a nice location. Stairs are very steep to second floor and the first floor a bit musty but overall a pleasant experience.Go across the street for steamers!!」

「We had a great time staying at JF and Sue’s place! Such a serene location and well stocked with maps and guides for our time in Acadia. JF spent some lovely time with us showing around the property, telling us about the area, and teaching us how a lobster trap works! Would absolutely recommend again. 」

「Although we were very pleased overall with our stay, I do have some complaints/criticisms: There were no instructions for contacting the property manager in an emergency, or what we might be expected to do on leaving (strip beds, empty trash?) I realize that there is a contact link on the web site, but that states a reply within 48 hours - not very responsive for a short stay or immediate problem. Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. 「Very clean and up to date. Excellent European range, sink, and fridge. Easy access to both major areas of Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. Apartment is on second floor over garage; necessitates a stair climb. Very welcoming host, but she was never intrusive. Good value for the money.」
