We had a great time at South Pacific resort. Room was really large and the beds were comfortable. Plus everything was really clean and tidy. The resort has a range of facilities like the pool, restaurant, games room and meeting rooms. They also have cars that you can hire directly from the resort. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!

Not much food choice and food and drink expensive. Main gripe is claim that 2 GB of Wi Fi provided. All gone after 1 day and they claim used it all and have to pay for more. Rubbish when only used to download paper and mail and average data use over 3 month period is consistently 1.2 GB.

Friendly and convenient

The place is not luxury but the staff were friendly and it didn’t break the bank. Like everywhere there is no free internet. Can walk from hotel to shops so that was a plus.

We were disappointed that the pool was not available for use and the restaurant was not open. The fridge in our room was very small….not big enough for snacks and drinks. Cost of room was reasonable and cleanliness excellent.

Good Hotel, clean and tidy

this is a good resort, however no air conditioning,heater or fan in the room made it a bit uncomfortable during my stay. The room was fine but beware of very small internet availability and cost. Had to buy a new simm card for phone as Norfolk has no roaming facility on any carrier.

The rooms are very dated and black mould in the bathroom. The screen door was filthy dirty all furniture beds etc very dated and very uncomfortable. The ceiling fan was covered in dust and rusty, the iron and ironing board was useless. Staff are not very friendly I was only greeted hello once my whole stay, restaurant was not open for dinner whole stay we were not notified prior arrival. When I asked staff about Dinner at the restaurant she said no it is closed and no sorry explantion.The BBQ was a disgrace no way you could of cooked on it. All cereal at the breakfast was stale very limited choices, canned fruit 1 variety and 1 variety of yoghurt, and toast. Coffee was horrible could not drink it. We ended up going else where for breakfast a number of times. Never saw any staff doing too much at all no cleaning in common areas no maintenance work being done when there is alot of that needed, do not stay here ever.

The staff at the property were excellent, and very friendly. Overall the property was very clean and simple. We had a garden view, which was ok, but there are open areas which would be better. The breakfast was cereal, toast and coffee, but full breakfast was available. The location is close to town and there are many tours to get from the property.

Overall hotel had a good feel to it. Spa was not warm at all. Wifi is not included in room rates and is quite expensive to purchase. Rooms (superior) furnishings needed some attention - tiles lifting in the bathroom, mould in the showers and a hole in the window frame leading to the balcony. I think this hotel needs some attention to be charging and claiming what they do.

We stayed at the resort in the winter, but we enjoyed our stay. The room was large as we picked that type. We also had a good view over the valley. The bed was good and the staff was friendly and gave us suggestions as to what to see. The bathroom was small and you had to push a button to get hot water. But the water warmed very quickly. There are tours that can be set up by the hotel. But a car is better as there are many locations to visit. You can rent a car from the resort. The breakfast was continental, but for an added fee, full breakfast can be ordered. We enjoyed our visit to Norfolk Island.

Great position close to town.

We enjoyed our stay at the South Pacific Resort Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and responded to any requests promptly and politely. Meals were very well cooked and presented (a little too much salt for our low salt preference). A very enjoyable stay.

Nice resort close to town

South Pacific Resort is a pleasant place to spend on your Norfolk Island holiday. The gardens are perfectly manicured and the rooms are clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast is a bonus. The pool is quite big and has a spacious clean deck surrounding it.The resort is only a couple of minutes walk to town and to Restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at this resort.

The hotel was centrally placed to be able to walk

Given a cool drink when we arrived plus a colourful lay. Monday has happy hour with free drinks and nibbles given and we met up with others. Breakfasts each day was excellent and ample supplied. Beautifully appointed room overlooking a beautiful view of Norfolk Pines in the background. Ample room space with TV, lounges as well as table and chairs Plenty of room in spacious cupboard. Room cleaned daily. Separate towels given for use at pool. Pool very clean and I used it.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. Great pool and hot tub. Love the restaurant decor with a huge Bounty replica. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Kids loved the billiards and ping pong tables. Beds were comfortable with big rooms. Lovely grounds and view.

This was very close to the main shopping area.

All the local people, veryfriendly and easy to talk talk, helpful. Restaurants very good. The Tours were all very informative. Also hired a car to get around pretty east

Biggest Hotel in town.

The hotel facilities were 60/40 with the 60% being outdated,the pool area was modern as was the front reception but you don't sleep in these areas.
