The Sacher is an excellent choice, location-wise and for the level of service it would be hard to beat in Vienna. The only downside I can mention is that the property is so iconic , the bar and cafe are beset by selfy taking , nonguest tourists and influencers. It can be a little detrimental to the atmosphere. I’d recommend to the management that banning of cameras and photography would improve the experience of guests,

My husband and I stayed in a Junior Suit with View (the top 7th floow with balcony) for 4 nights in May. We were very happy with the room and impressed with the staff at all levels. My husband was very pleased to have receive a boxed Sacher Torte for his birthday. We did not inform them that it was his birthday treat. The Hotel Sacher is a short walk away from the Viennese State Opera House, which is very ocnvenient. We enjoyed Perl Fishers as well as Die Walkure this time. A superb mini-holiday.

This is where I will stay whenever I go to Vienna. The hotel is beautiful, it's the perfect mix of old and new. The staff so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, almost everything is walking distance. I couldn't love this hotel any more than I do!

The Sachet is all about Vienna's tradition, luxury well understood, discretion and a staff at all levels of the experience that delivers a professional, friendly and even perfect service with grace and elegance. Yes, the rooms are well appointed, the bathroom well designed, the lobby has a great atmosphere- almost out of a Visconti film set...the spa could be better, the bar menu not that great but overall a brilliant antidote to luxury chains that try but don't reach a similar level.

The Sacher Wien is the most magnificent hotel I have ever encountered. The building was exquisite, the staff was charming, the rooms were impeccable, the location was ideal, and the little touches made me feel like I was royalty. I can't wait to go back.
