The lovingly furnished “Nordseenest” (with a fresh, modern look complemented by some light-colored antiques) can accommodate 2 (up to 3) people. It features a modern, romantic bathroom with a shower, located on the first floor. Its newly installed kitchen is equipped with a well-stocked set of dishes, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, range hood, refrigerator, sandwich toaster, kettle, and egg cooker, etc. The spacious and light-filled living-bedroom area is divided by a room divider and features a stylish built-in double bed (sleeping area: 160 x 200 cm, 2 mattresses, each 80 cm wide) as well as an exceptionally cozy and high-quality studio-style living area with solid wood flooring, LED satellite TV, DVD player, stereo system with iPod docking station, radio, CD and DVD players, and a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. This, along with a cozy stove, books, and games, ensures comfort and entertainment at home even on rainy days. A crib, high chair, toilet seat adapter, and step stool can be provided. The utility room in the Deichhaus Nordstrand—renovated in 2020 (directly adjacent to the adjoining garden and with its own separate entrance)—is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, and an infrared sauna, and can be used by residents of the Red Studio House. Two bicycles (belonging specifically to the Red Studio House) can also be used by tenants free of charge. These are stored in the shed next to the Red Studio House, along with the garden furniture for the summer. The beautifully landscaped garden with a hand-woven willow fence is surrounded by a traditional Frisian earthen embankment and separates the two buildings; it also offers numerous outdoor seating areas, especially from spring through fall in your own beach chair right next to the house entrance. Both sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed wonderfully here. The house faces southwest. Ample parking for vehicles is available in the on-site parking lot next to the Red Studio House. You can leave your car behind to walk or bike down to the dike, where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world (according to various regular guests). Husum, with its picturesque market square and harbor, is just a few kilometers away.
