「We had a two-night stay. And since we were so close to the harbor, it made for easy walks to the points of interest nearby; easy walk to the harbor. We could see the harbor from out the windows. We cooked on the newer clean grill. You need to sign into your own Roku account to use the TV which we did to see the Olympics.」

「The house was lovely, very clean, well stocked, and a great location on a quiet street. Nice area for walking, and convenient to many attractions. Overall I would give it a great review except for the view. The pictures showed a nice open view of the river, but because the trees and shrubs need to be trimmed you loose 80% of the view shown in pictures.That was my only disappointment. 」

I’ve been to the Samoset several times and the views are awesome however this property is not oceanfront nor does it have an ocean view so it was somewhat of a disappointment. Still you’re very close to all the Samoset amenities and a short drive to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. 」

「The shared driveway was a challenge and the hike from the driveway to the house had was also a challenge. Additionally the window in one of the bathrooms did not work, the dishwasher was not secured and tilted when you put dishes in, one of the commodes ran constantly unless you jiggle. The kitchen garbage can is broken.」

「This is a very nice, clean ranch style house that is a short walk from the harbor. It is very quiet and comfortable lodging. The area is extremely safe and very pleasant to go for walks. There is quite a bit to do in this area especially if you like lobster, rugged shorelines, foggy mornings, and smell of a fresh sea breeze.
