We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is small (at least for 4 people), but cozy, sparkling clean, and freshly renovated, with everything you need and wonderful views of the river. Jeffrey, our host, made us feel welcome at every step and was consistently attentive and thoughtful. Close to hiking trails, dining and shopping, and the stunning Maine Coastal Botanical gardens.

If you’re looking for a small, secluded, modern-rustic house for a small group, this is one to consider. Great views and location. House was VERY clean; a few housekeeping “issues” were identified and relayed to Jeffrey who was quick to respond. Although we only stayed 2 nights, Jeffrey was a top-notch host who was in constant contact to include dining and activity suggestions to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one……which it was!!!!!

This cottage is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern upgrades. The view of the river is incredible, and the secluded location is just a short drive from downtown Wiscasset and Edgecomb. The sunroom is already a great place to hang out and enjoy the river view, but the owners are also putting in a lot of work to create an enjoyable outdoor space. Jeffrey is easy to work with and honestly wants you to have a good stay.
