The staff were good about accommodating my special requests. Housekeeping service was spectacular. Room and hotel were clean. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly.
However, it was not a perfect stay and I'm tempted to take a star off. The hotel did not respond to my Expedia message. I also asked for a hand towel, and the response was because i'm in a single standard I only get one towel. This was not a welcoming gesture. An extra towel is such a small thing to make a customer happy. Fortunately they gave it to me without issue. I also didn't receive water on one day, and when I asked for it I was questioned. Again, one small bottle of water is a small thing to make a client happy. But despite these, it was a very enjoyable stay.

the souq doesn’t actually open until 9 but there’s still a few things to look at and learn about in the fort too. Sounds like Friday is the ideal time to go when the market is bustling and there’s auctions of all sorts of things eg camels
